Riley Curry is like dad, according to Ayesha Curry who says that her daughter’s extroverted personality mirrors Steph Curry’s character.
“She’s just like her dad,” Ayesha shares. “I’m actually the introverted one. I’m very shy; I’m like a clam, and my husband is like a social butterfly. She’s definitely more like him than me!”
Riley believes in pushing the limits and that includes asking for more stories during bedtime. “We have a two book limit with Riley,” Ayesha explains. “She tries to push us for a third but we’re strict!”
Fans got a clear view of Riley’s exuberance during her first press conference meeting with dad. Stephen Curry was trying to answer questions posed by media but Riley stole the show with her restlessness. The toddler climbed underneath the table, talked in the mic, and gave a sigh when she was ready to leave the meeting.
“Riley wanted to hang out with me,” Stephen said during a summer interview with Parents. “She sat up there, and that’s when her personality shined bright. … She’s got a great sense of humor.”
Ayesha and Stephen Curry have two kids, Riley and Ryan, together. The girls celebrated their birthdays in July.
