Chandler Kinney, 16, and Dante Brown, 16, strutted their stuff on the red carpet, September 12th for the LA premiere of Lethal Weapon, which was held at Neue House Hollywood.
Chandler, best known for her role on “Gortimer Gibbons Life on Normal Street”, has an extensive resume that not only highlights her dancing abilities but touts her impressive dance skills as well. In addition to having guest-starred on television shows that include “American Horror Story”, “The Haunted Hathaways”, “Girl Meets World”, and “90210”, Kinney is trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, pointe and hip-hop. Currently, she is an active member of the Debbie Allen Dance Company and the Los Angeles Ballet Academy.
Kinney’s young castmate, Dante Brown, just like Kinney, is a multi-faceted entertainer. Most recently Brown has been a series regular in the network comedy, “Mr. Robinson”, but he can boast other heavy-weight credits as well. Brown has also starred in the television movie “America”, alongside Rosie O’Donnell, landing a Young Artist Award in 2009 for Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries, or Special-Supporting Young Actor. He has appeared in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, “Shameless”, “Henry Danger”, “Community”, “Southland”, “NCIS”, and “The Last Ship”. Brown made his big screen debut in 2012, in the movie, “Won’t Back Down”. When Brown is not in front of the camera, he is behind the mic. Brown is also known as hip-hop artist “DanteThePoet” and is working on his debut album alongside his younger brother, Dusan. The two have an online series “Talking With the Brown Boys”, that was back online this summer for season three.
