Some people are so immature. The father of Tika Sumpter’s unborn child has been revealed and Twitter can’t handle the truth.
Nick James of Tyler Perry’s ‘Haves and Have Nots’ was recently reported as the father of Tika’s little one. The actor works alongside Tika as ‘Officer Justin’ on the show.
While many fans congratulated the co-stars on their expectancy, some took issue with James’ race. One critic tweeted, “I’m lowkey blowed tika sumpter having a baby for a white dude, all that melanin down the drain.” Another wrote, “Of course Tika Sumpter’s baby daddy is white.”
Although the comments were brutal, Tika didn’t let the ignorance of a few get her down. “Enjoy and create the life you want to live,” she shared on Tuesday. “Don’t look to the left or the right. Look forward, be grateful and smile a lot. Those who hate just need a big hug and encouragement to live their best life. Pray for them. I do.”
Tika Sumpter and Nick James are expecting their little one to arrive in coming weeks.
