Add another chair to the family table. Marjorie and Steve Harvey’s daughter, Karli Harvey-Raymond, welcomed her son a few weeks ago and Steve was overtaken with tears of joy.
“Last night my daughter surprised me backstage with my grandson who I’ve never met,” Steve shared. “It was emotional! He’s 8weeks his name is Benjamin!”
Jason, Marjorie’s son, was the first Harvey to add a little member to the family. His second child, Noah, celebrated his first birthday earlier this week. “Enjoying Noah’s 1st Birthday,” Marjorie shared along with a picture of the birthday boy celebrating with big sister Rose. Benjamin was also the center of attraction at the party as Karli and Brandi cuddled him.
Steve Harvey is a model dad with an exemplary blended family. Both the comedian and his wife have accepted one another’s children as their own, and Steve even shared a father-daughter dance with Morgan during her wedding.
“When you’re dealing with a blended family, everyone is coming from a place of broken,” Marjorie said during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine. “I just told [the kids], ‘Everyone is included. Everyone has access to their parents. Whatever you didn’t have before, don’t let that interfere with what you can have now.'”
