The annual trip was held at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, as part of the LeBron James Foundation’s ‘I Promise’ initiative that offers college scholarships to well-deserving kids. The trip to Cedar Point is a sort of incentive to encourage children to work hard in school so that they can achieve great things in the future. All of the kids treated to the amusement park trip on Tuesday were given entry into the ‘I Promise’ program.

LeBron’s foundation announced Tuesday’s ‘Family Reunion’ at Cedar Park last week, which was presented by Chase bank. “They serve our children and their families, often with no cameras or press to document the occasion,” the foundation said of the financial institution. “We are proud to announce that this year’s We Are Family Reunion at Cedar Point is presented by Chase and the 20,000 employees who call Ohio home.”

LeBron James re-signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers after helping the team win an NBA Championship earlier this year. The star athlete is the proud father of three kids.
