Yara Shahidi has signed with talent agency CAA. Founded in 1975, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) represents many of the most successful professionals working in film, television, music, and other areas of entertainment.
Shahidi made her film debut in 2009 when she starred opposite of Eddie Murphy in Paramount Pictures’ Imagine That. Her past credits include Phillip Noyce’s “Salt,” opposite Angelina Jolie and Liev Schreiber; Jim Field Smith’s “Butter,” opposite Jennifer Garner; and she played “young Olivia Pope” in a few episodes of Scandal.
Last week, the 16-year-old star was honored at the 2016 Gracie Awards Gala with the ‘Female in a Breakthrough Role’ award for her role as Zoey Johnson in ABC’s “Black-ish”. In 2014, she won an NAACP Image Award for ‘Best Supporting Actress’ in a Comedy
