Monroe and Moroccan celebrated their fifth birthdays on Saturday and Nick Cannon shared his fatherly bliss. The actor took to Instagram to express his happiness.
“The two greatest gifts I ever received in life arrived at the same time on this date 5 years ago,” Cannon wrote. “I am forever grateful and humbled by their love. Through life we constantly try to figure out our journey but when Moroccan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon where born I received a new clarity. ‘Unconditional Love’ is what they give and what we continue to express to each other. It is my duty, privilege, and honor to be the best father to them and I thank them both for being the most amazing kids on earth. Happy Birthday Roc&Roe!!!”
Nick Cannon co-parents the twins with estranged wife Mariah Carey. The star father told Ellen that their harmony is fueled by love. “It’s all about unconditional love,” he said. “They know Mommy and Daddy still love each other, but more importantly they love us.”
Monroe and Moroccan were born on April 30, 2011.
