Marcus Scribner is making a difference in the world. The ‘Black-ish’ star recently partnered with Sandals Foundation to serve as the first Youth Advocate Ambassador (YAA).

“It is a great honor for me to align with the incredible Beaches Resorts and Sandals Foundation,” Marcus said in a statement. “The outstanding and amazing work that they are doing helps to provide a very strong education to many children. They are vigilant in protecting animals and preserving their beautiful marine life. And, who could forget that they provide the greatest resorts in the world for families and friends to bond and create lasting memories? I mean, what’s not to love?”

Sandals Foundation is the non-profit extension of Sandals Resorts International (SRI), which is the leading family resort in the Caribbean. The non-profit sector of the company works hard to ensure the safety and preservation of marine life. Sandals Resorts itself helps families create lasting memories while vacationing in the Caribbean.

Sandals Foundation coordinates a number of projects that serve to benefit the community, education system, and environment as a whole. The organization is thrilled to have a young star such as Marcus Scribner to serve as its ambassador. “We are thrilled to have Marcus as our first Youth Advocate Ambassador,” Heidi Clarke, Director of Programs for the Sandals Foundation, said. “His passion for giving back along with his ever-growing fan base is just what we were looking for to help us in our worldwide efforts to raise needed awareness for the programs we operate across the Caribbean region we call home.”
