Devon Still and his bride-to-be, Asha Joyce, won’t be the only stars at their wedding ceremony next month. The NFL player’s daughter, Leah, will also be the center of attraction.
The 5-year-old debuted her dress for the highly anticipated event during her appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ Thursday. Leah struck several poses in her pink gown that bore flowers around the waist area.
Miss Still will serve as her father and soon-to-be stepmother’s flower girl. “We created two different looks for her,” bridal designer Hayley Paige told GMA. “She wanted something that was very playful and girlie, but also really strong and fearless.”
Strong and fearless is definitely a good way to describe Leah who battled and defeated cancer. The little one was diagnosed with the disease in 2014 and underwent every effort of treatment like a champion. Leah was such an inspiration to others that she wrote a book called I Am Leah Strong. “She has such a profound effect on the world right now and her story is so inspiring,” Hayley told GMA viewers.
In serving as a family of inspiration, Devon, Asha and Leah are looking forward to the future. “We’re getting married May 13 at the New York Public Library and I’m excited to see Devon and his expression when I walk down the aisle,” Asha told GMA. “We’re really excited,” she added.
