Big things are happening for Tatyana Ali, and the actress is giving the scoop on her plans to take on the role of wife and mom in the next few months.
“I feel like it’s going so fast,” the actress tells KTLA5 of her pregnancy. “I have to take pictures of everything and record everything.”
Trying to catch every precious moment of her expectancy while planning for a wedding ceremony can be a bit hectic. “It’s going along well,” Tatyana says of her engagement. “[Planning for the wedding is the] same chaos that everyone else experiences. I thought, ‘Oh we don’t need a year. It’ll be fine.’ There are so many things to do.”
There us much to do at home and even more to do at work as Tatyana is currently promoting her latest role in TVOne’s Second Sight. The actress portrays a school teacher, Clara Randall, who has premonitions about one of her students being abducted. “She feels like she’s losing her mind. Everyone around her thinks she’s crazy,” Ali says. She adds, “I love the story because it’s really about a woman learning to trust herself, and her instincts, and to fight for what she knows is really going on.”
Tatyana Ali and fiance Dr. Vaughn Rasberry are planning to tie the knot this summer. The couple is expecting their little one to arrive this fall. Second Sight airs of TVOne this Saturday night at 8ET/5PST.
