Blue Ivy Carter had an epic fairy-themed birthday party a few months ago, in case you were wondering. Beyonce shared a series of pictures from her daughter’s shindig that took place in January.
The backyard was decked out with teepees and flowers everywhere. Blue Ivy changed outfits at least once and participated in a myriad of activities available to guests. The little one was focused while shooting arrows. Blue rocked a purple butterfly costume while aiming her matching bow at the target.
Beyonce recently talked about how parenthood has changed her perspective in life. “I think just like any mother, I just want my child to be happy and healthy and have the opportunity to realize her dreams,” the ‘Formation’ singer told Elle.
Bey also discussed the ways in which her parents shaped her work ethic. “Your time is the most valuable asset you own, and you have to use it wisely,” she shared. “My parents taught me how to work hard and smart. Both were entrepreneurs; I watched them struggle working 18-hour days. They taught me that nothing worth having comes easily.”
