Marcus Scribner, Yara Shahidi and other members of the Black-ish cast gave fans the delight of hearing about their greatest moments onset at this year’s Paley Fest. Excitement filled the arena as the stars discussed their favorite onscreen moments.

The series’ exploration of the N-word was more than likely the highlight of the talk as both Marcus and Yara commented on the subject before the episode aired. “I feel like the N-word is a very important topic for ‘Black-ish’ to address especially being named ‘Black-ish,'” Marcus said. Yara also chimed in telling the press, “We go pretty hard … we don’t present on way of doing things.”

You can catch all of the cast members going “hard” on the latest episode of Black-ish, which airs this Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. on ABC. The show stars Laurence Fishburne, Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Marsai Martin, and Miles Brown in addition to Yara Shahidi and Marcus Scribner.
