Nick Cannon is an outgoing dad with traditional values. The star tells media that he does not use technology to replace quality time spent with his kids.
“It’s so easy just to put the iPad on,” says Nick. “But you’ve got to keep the kids engaged, with you and with each other.”
In an effort to keep his kids, Monroe and Moroccan, “engaged” with society, Nick encourages them to explore sports and the arts. “They’re both super musical,” Cannon dotes. “It’s amazing to watch them sing, dance and play piano.”
While watching them sing and dance at home is entertaining, Nick pushes his kids to experiment with more industries than one. “I just want them to strive for something greater than entertainment,” he told media shortly after Monroe and Moroccan were born. “I’m one of those believers in teachers, professors, heart surgeons. That’s what I’m rooting for. If I could get a scientist, that’d be amazing.”
It is safe to assume that Cannon’s philosophy remains the same as he currently has his kids enrolled in tae kwon do classes. Monroe and Moroccan are the ‘America’s Got Talent’ host’s kids with estranged wife Mariah Carey.
