Thandie Newton and her son, Booker, are ready for travel. The actress and her little one were spotted at LAX airport on Wednesday and she was definitely the doting mom.

Thandie wore a huge smile while carrying little Booker through the airport. The toddler placed a hand in his mouth and took in the sights before boarding the plane with mom. Both Thandie and Booker’s outfits were casual as the actress wore a gray sweatsuit that matched Booker’s gear.

While Booker is not too concerned about his mom’s fame, Thandie’s daughters, Ripley and Nico, have an opinion about the actress’ stardom. “It irritates them, which I think is very healthy,” Thandie told media during one interview.  She further explained, “I talk to them a lot about not wanting to be famous just for the sake of it, but having a rewarding, satisfying job, and they seem to understand that fame is just a by-product.”

Thandie and her husband, Ol Parker, parent three kids together. Little Booker celebrates his second birthday today.
