Snoop Dogg is a proud grandpa! Shante Broadus recently shared a picture of her husband, son and grandson with Instagram fans. Snoop and his son Corde held on to baby Zion as the little one looked the camera’s way. “Three generations,” Shante wrote.
Corde made Snoop and Shante grandparents last year. The young adult announced the arrival of Zion via Instagram and thanked his girlfriend Jessica for being the mother of his son.
Snoop is definitely proud to be a grandfather. The rapper told TODAY that Zion represents “the third generation of what we’re doing.” He also told the press that he plans to be a “gullible, get-away-with-everything grandfather” and a father that his kids can depend on.
“I feel like my relationship with my kids is more important than anything,” he explained. “It’s a friendship relationship. It’s based on me being a father, a mentor and a friend to where they can always talk to me and feel like they don’t have to run away from me but run to me.”
Snoop and Shante have two sons, Corde and Cordell, and a daughter named Cori. Zion is the couple’s first grandchild.
