It was a merry Christmas indeed for the Odom kids who spent the holiday with their dad, Lamar Odom. The former NBA player’s son, Lamar Jr., shared a picture of him and his sister, Destiny, posing with their famous father on the joyful holiday.
“Christmas with my pops,” the teen captioned underneath the photo. “Here’s to 2016. Blessed.”
Lamar has been on the road to recovery since suffering a heart attack and nearly dying last year. The star athlete was at a Nevada brothel when he went into cardiac arrest and had to be rushed to the hospital. Odom remained in a coma for a number of weeks before awaking to see his family by his side.
Estranged wife Khloe Kardashian was one of many loved ones to join Lamar Jr. and Destiny at their father’s bedside. The reality star stayed with Lamar in the hospital and moved to hold off on divorce proceedings so that Odom could focus on recovery.
Lamar has two sons and one daughter with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales. The NBA star’s son, Jayden, died at six months old in 2006 after contracting SIDS.
