Shayla Gibson has much to be thankful for this holiday season as she is the most recent celeb kid to have an island purchased in her honor. You read right! Tyrese gifted his 8-year-old with an island.
“I just bought my daughter an island,” the star shared during a recent interview with E! News. “Can’t say [where],” he added. However, “She knows all about it and the island is called Love Island. I’ll be putting it up on my Facebook soon.”
Tyrese’s latest gift is one of many that he has given his daughter over the years. The FURIOUS star also went to great lengths to have a Starbucks built in the family home because Shayla loves the franchise.
All of Tyrese’s generosity stems from his desire to be the best dad he can be. “I….AM…FATHER,” the star shared in one Instagram post. “Fathers… Even though it seems like your effort is sometimes overlooked, God is watching and he knows your heart.”
Shayla is Tyrese’s only child with his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell.
