Surprise! Dwayne Johnson is expecting a baby girl with his girlfriend, Lauren Hashian. The actor made the announcement by way of Instagram on Tuesday.
“I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe felt we needed one more,” shared Johnson. “IT’S A BABY GIRL,” exclaimed the star. “THANK YOU guys so much for the awesome support and love you’ve sent @laurenhashianofficial and myself from around the world. We’re so grateful for this blessing and thrilled to share the news with y’all.”
Dwayne and Lauren announced their expectancy in September. The actor also has a daughter named Simone whom he takes pride in embarrassing. “She quietly thinks I’m cool, but I just have this tendency to embarrass the s*** out of her at any time,” said Dwayne during one interview. He further explained, “I’m that dad who’ll all of a sudden breaks out in song. I’m that dad who, when I drop her off at school, she’s trying to be quiet and I’m like, ‘Bye baby, see you.’ [And] everybody’s like ‘That’s The Rock.'”
Lauren and Dwayne are expecting their first child together. This will be Johnson’s second child.
