Christmas is Mariah Carey’s favorite time of year and, as such, the singer wants to share her joy with the world. In response to the overwhelming support that her single ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ has received, Carey has written a children’s book with the same title.
Meant to capture the spirit of the holidays, All I Want for Christmas is a collection of lyrics and family moments that Mariah shares by way of illustration. Colleen Madden contributed the pictures that brings the story to life and Mariah, of course, put her best creativity to work.
“When I wrote ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ it was my dream for it to become a classic Christmas song,” says Carey of her smash hit single. “I am so proud of the song’s impact as it continues to create memories for fans each year. I am thrilled to be able to bring the story of the song to new generations of families with the picture book.”
