Melanie Fiona and her boyfriend, Jared Cotter, are expecting their first child together! The singer announced her pregnancy on social media on Thursday.
“The greatest power a person possesses is the power to choose,” shared Melanie on Instagram. “The only thing greater, is being chosen.Thank You for choosing Us. Jared and I are thrilled to become Parents.” The singer also shared a video that featured her cradling her bump.
The last we heard from Melanie was in February when she was discussing her upcoming album. “This entire album is entirely about the experience of self revelation,” Fiona shared with fans. “I’ve traveled, I’ve fallen in love, I’ve fallen out of love, I’ve eaten great food and made new friends and gotten new inspiration and I’ve grown spiritually and emotionally and that is what I wanted people to see that growth.”
Melanie Fiona and Jared Cotter have been in courtship for several months and they “take Love very seriously.” The couple is expecting their bundle of joy to arrive in coming weeks.
