Halle Berry is moving forward after announcing her and husband Olivier Martinez’s plans to divorce. The actress tells Extra that she is adjusting to life as a single mother of two.
“I’m doing okay, I really am. I keep pushing,” says Halle. “Whenever you’re going through anything in life, when you step outside yourself and focus on others, that’s always the best remedy for any situation that you’d rather not be dealing with.”
In focusing on others, Halle has been paying special attention to her kids. “Maceo didn’t go trick-or-treating ’cause he has the chicken pox,” shares Berry of her son’s Halloween experience. “Nahla was a zombie cheerleader, and we had a great time. I was a pirate and [Nahla], she’s like, ‘You’re a sexy pirate, Mommy,’ I’m like, ‘What do you know about a sexy pirate?'”
