Derrick Sr., was in the middle of talking about Chicago’s loss to Cleveland when his son, P.J. Rose, gave the “mean face” to reporters. Although Derrick was more focused on questions posed than his son’s expression, several media sources noted the little one’s reaction to reporters during yesterday’s post-game press conference “When they ask your Dad if Chicago can possibly win in Cleveland,” captioed sports writer Dave Zirin along with a picture of PJ at the conference.
Little Derrick has brought immense joy to his parents’ life since his birth in 2012. “Everything stopped when he was born,” said Derrick of his son in 2013. “I try to spoil him as much as possible, not only with material stuff, but just being around him with love and support, letting him know that I will always be there.”
PJ is Derrick Rose and Mieka Reese’s only child together.
