Sandra Bullock was recently named PEOPLE magazine’s ‘Most Beautiful Woman’ but the actress tells the editorial that beauty is not just skin deep.
“Real beauty is quiet,” says the star. “What is beautiful is the honor of being Louis’ mother.”
Sandra adopted her son out of New Orleans five years ago, and has loved every moment of parenthood. “I was putting him to bed and told him that even when I’m old and gray and more wrinkly than I am now, I’ll still love him and want to tuck him in,” shares the star. “He asked why I have wrinkles, and I said, ‘Well, I hope some of them are from laughing so much.’ And he touched my face and said, ‘You’re not old, you’re just happy.'”
Although she is happy being a celebrity parent, Sandra does not want Louis to know about her fame. “He thought I was an astronaut for a while,” explains the star. “I want it to be so inconsequential and such a nonissue. I want him to be embarrassed by me like all other parents.”
