Ciara and Nayvadius Cash, a.k.a. Future, may no longer be a couple but the two remain cordial for the sake of their son.
“We’re cool,” said the ‘I Bet’ singer during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club. “We have a child together and I think, as a parent, it’s important to communicate.” Although the two no longer talk everyday, Ciara and Future understand that their son “is clearly the connection” between them.
While many would be bitter about experiencing such a public breakup, Ciara told media that she is grateful to have a child whom she loves to pieces. “The greatest joy in my life is my son,” said the star. “Honestly, I feel like everything in life happens for a reason and my son has been the greatest gift that God has given me in my life. He has been the most game-changing thing in my life in a necessary way.”
