It’s over for R&B group OMG Girlz. The group, featuring singer Tiny’s daughter Zonnique Pullins, took to Twitter.com on Thursday to announce that they are splitting. A message posted on the social media site reads, “Hey Team OMG, we want to thank you all for the love, support, and loyalty. At this time, we’ve decided to not move forward as a group but to move forward individually with our own projects. We hope you will continue to support us individually as much as you did when we were a group. We love you all so much! This is not the end but a new beginning.”
The Atlanta-based group of girls was formed in 2009 by former Xscape member Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle. The original lineup included Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter, who departed from the group in 2010. In 2014, the group released a song called “Boy It’s Over”, which became a hit on the Hot R&B Charts.
