Zendaya was all smiles at the 6th Annual Essence Black Women In Music event held at Avalon on February 5, 2015 in Hollywood, California. The 18-year-old K.C. Undercover actress hit the red carpet in a black and white polka dot body suit and geometrically color blocked pencil skirt from designer Sergio Hudson’s Spring 2015 collection.
Zendaya’s new show, which follows high school senior K.C. Cooper who gets recruited by her parents after she discovers that they are actually undercover spies, debuted last month on Disney Channel. The next episode will air on February 8th.
Held during GRAMMY week in Los Angeles, Essence Black Women In Music celebrates the achievements of both emerging and established artists and influencers in the music industry. This year’s event honored Jill Scott and featured performances by Chaka Khan, Brandy, MC Lyte, and Lianne La Havas.
