Ashlee Simpson and the family celebrated art in all of its beauty at the ‘Color Live’ launch event in New York City this past Thursday. The ‘Pieces of Me’ singer hosted the event alongside Open House Gallery.
Ashlee and her husband, Evan Ross, have been on cloud nine ever since learning of their expectancy, and discovering that a baby girl will arrive in a few months. “I like to know — I want to do the nursery,” says Ashlee of her decision to learn of the sex of her child. “I’m just excited for the new addition,” gushed the star.
Bronx, Ashlee’s son with ex-husband Pete Wentz, is also ecstatic. “He wanted to have a sister, so he’s really excited,” shares Ashlee.
Evan wed Ashlee last year in front of friends and family that included Evan’s famous mom, Diana Ross. The ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ singer hosted the ceremony and reception, and even rendered a selection for her son and new daughter-in-law.
The Ross’ announced their expectancy in December. They are expecting their little princess to arrive this Fall.
