Dwyane Wade is on punishment after giving unruly fans a negative gesture at a recent game. The Miami ‘Heat’ star tells media that his kids have taken away his phone and television privileges as a result of his actions.
“House rules,” says Wade in response to his punishment. “[It’s] for disrespecting the family name.”
Dwyane lost control after hecklers began to make obscene comments about his wife, Gabrielle Union, during a game against the North Carolina ‘Hornets.’ The team captain originally chose to ignore the critics, but later opted to give the fans the bird when the heckling got progressively worse.
“You can talk about me all day,” shares Wade. “I really don’t care what you say about me because I know at the end of the day when I walk off that court most of those guys would see me in the back hallway and want to shake my hand. When it gets too personal about your family, that’s too far.”
Regardless of how far the hecklers went, Zion and Zaire expected their father to go the extra mile to preserve the integrity of the Wade name. Since he did not, the boys have taken away some of his treasured freedoms.
Dwyane Wade has two children, Zion and Zaire, with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. The NBA star has three kids in all.
