Surprise! Keke Wyatt and husband Michael Ford were the recipients of a surprise baby shower this past weekend. The expectant singer and her hubby were caught completely off guard as booking manager Drae Crenshaw hosted the gathering at the luxurious Suite Lounge in Atlanta.
“People always have something to say about people with children having baby showers; I wanted to celebrate my friends and their new baby. Baby showers are all about celebrating the life of the new baby,” says Crenshaw of the party.
Keke certainly enjoyed the festivities. The singer gave a big shout out to her booking manager on Instagram after they concluded. “My booking manager, my right hand, my boo, my hun @draecrenshaw love for me and my family is simply amazing. Once again he surprised Michael Jamar and I with another baby shower. Lord, this is the 3rd time he got me.” Wyatt also shared a collage of pictures from her event.
Several celebrities came out to wish Keke well in her pregnancy. Angie Stone, Tiny Harris, and Nicci Gilbert were three of many local stars to attend the bash. The R&B group Mako Girls were also at the baby shower, and performed an original song created especially for the Fords.
Keke and Michael are expecting a baby girl to arrive in coming weeks. They plan to name her Keyoshi. Keke is the proud mother of two biological children, and five bonus kids by marriage. Check out more pictures from the singer’s baby shower below!
