Although she loves documenting everything and doesn’t mind striking a pose for paparazzi, Kim Kardashian-West admits that being in the limelight hasn’t always been her desire. The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star tells Closer magazine that she would have preferred to stay away from the spotlight while pregnant with her daughter, North.
“There are moments I wish the paparazzi hadn’t caught me, particularly when I was pregnant and looked fat,” says Kim. The star admitted to gaining more than 20 pounds during her expectancy while speaking with another media source a few months back.
Although she gained weight while carrying North, Kim tells Closer that nothing compares to being a mother. “My eyes will be closed and she’ll put her nose right in my face. I open my eyes and she looks at me like: ‘Oh, there you are!’ It’s the cutest thing and my favorite part of the day,” shares the star.
Kim and husband Kanye West have one child together. North West will celebrate her second birthday on June 15, 2015.
