Devon and Leah Still make a wonderful pair. The two were recently photographed for the holidays while wearing their best formal wear.
“I think we compliment each other well,” tweeted Devon along with one of the pics. The NFL star was wearing a pin striped suit with matching vest along with a red tie. Still’s tie perfectly coordinated with Leah’s dress, which was black and red. “She brings out the smile in me,” wrote the star.
Devon has certainly been smiling more since his daughter underwent surgery for cancer a few weeks ago. Leah was diagnosed with stage four cancer after being taken to the doctor over complaints of leg pains. “She only would complain about leg pain when we would say, ‘Go clean your room,’ or something,” said Devon of his daughter’s illness during an interview with TODAY. “When we told the doctor, they touched her leg and she jumped in pain.”
Leah underwent several forms of treatment, including chemotherapy, before having surgery to remove the tumor that developed in her stomach and spread to her lymph nodes. She is now well on the road to recovery, and Devon couldn’t be happier.
