La La Anthony had one handsome date for the world premiere of Annie at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City this past Sunday (December 7). Kiyan accompanied his mom to the special screening, and was certainly dressed to impress.
The little one sported a camouflage tie with matching beige slacks. Kiyan’s red and blue checkered shirt perfectly coordinated with his mom’s outfit. “My handsome date, KIYAN, for the ANNIE premiere. There’s no place I would rather be then with this guy,” tweeted La La.
This year’s remake of Annie features Quvenzhane Wallis as the star character and Jamie Foxx as Will Stacks. Mister Stacks is a wealthy businessman who has high hopes of becoming a notable politician but needs the help of Annie to accomplish his dream. Although the relationship begins as one where Annie takes more than she gives, it soon turns out that the orphaned girl gives Will an invaluable outlook on life that is more focused on imperishable qualities and less on social status.
Annie makes its debut in public theaters on Friday, December 19, 2014. Kiyan is La La and husband Carmelo Anthony’s only child.
