It’s finally here! The music video for Jaden Smith’s single ‘Blue Ocean’ made its debut on Monday, and the footage brilliantly tells the story of a boy in love.
The video begins with Jaden running down an ocean path while wearing a hoodie and jeans. The teen stops in the middle of the path, takes off his hat, and begins his song with no onlookers cheering him on. Smith meets up with several girls during the video. One scene features him and rumored girlfriend Kylie Jenner embracing and spending quality time together.
Many criticized Jaden when he released ‘Blue Ocean’ a few weeks ago. Although some enjoyed the randomness of the single, many were confused by the lack of structure and missed the overall message of a boy coping with feelings of rejection after having much affection for a girl already in a relationship with another boy.
Jaden is Will and wife Jada Smith’s oldest child. The couple also have a daughter named Willow.
