There is no slowing this mom-to-be down! Over the weekend, Alcia Keys was spotted at several events, including one on Saturday. The singer attended the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she performed her new single ‘We Are Here.’ Alicia glowed as she played the piano and sang the lyrics to her powerful song.
The celebrated recording artist shared her new single with Facebook fans a few weeks ago. “The day I wrote this song, I was sitting in a circle of people of all ages and we were asked, ‘Why are you here,” shared the star along with footage of her singing the song. “As I prepare to give birth to a new child, I can’t help and think about the world I’m bringing my baby into. …we all have a voice – we just need to know how to make it heard.” Thereafter, Keys made sure that her voice was heard in deed through the launching of her “#WeAreHere” movement that has garnered the attention of millions on Facebook and Twitter.
Alicia also raised her voice at the Social Good Summit in New York on Sunday. The singer shared her opinions about the state of the world with an audience that was eager to listen.
Keys is expecting her second child with husband Swizz Beatz. The couple already have a son named Egypt.
