Award-Winning Casting Director, Robi Reed held her 12th annual “Sunshine Beyond Summer” celebration on September 13th. A party with a purpose hosted by Eva Marcille, the event benefits the Reed For Hope Foundation (RFHF).

In the spirit of caring and loving, Eva brought along a very special co-host, her daughter Marley. The 29-year-old model welcomed  the little one on January 31 2014, with boyfriend Kevin McCall. It is her only child, and Kevin’s second. The couple gushed on social media shortly after Marley’s arrival, posting heart-warming comments such as “never knew I could fall in love again” (Kevin) and “I’ve never known a love like this” (Eva).

Others who attended the benefit include Jill Scott, rapper Lil’ Mama, and singer Kenny Lattimore (Jacob’s cousin, despite the spelling difference). Reed’s organization, RFHF focuses on the health and wellness by supporting disease prevention. The Love Healthy campaign seeks to get people talking about health issues, and extends to the upcoming Love Healthy Tour which will encourage everyone to get screened for HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, diabetes, blood pressure, stress, cholesterol, and breast cancer.

The Sunshine Beyond Summer could only be a day full of love, support, and positive vibes; it’s no wonder Eva wanted little Marley by her side. The proud mommy posed happily, showing off Marley’s getup. Nothing says summer bash like pink flowers!
