Trevor Jackson has been featured in Naked Magazine‘s spread. In the exclusive, the young star said “Creativity is the greatest gift. It’s never planned, it just comes and those are the most special moments.”
He discussed his influences, including his surprising love of country music, and opened up about what it’s like to be an 18-year-old celebrity. The singer also talked about how his acting background and ability to empathize are significant elements in his writing process. “I’m one of those people who, even if I don’t go through anything personally, can relate easily to others.” This does seem to be a wonderful talent when it comes to writing music that will connect with various people and their various experiences.
Music is Trevor’s main priority at the moment, but he does want to continue pursuing acting. He also told NKD that one day, he’d love to have his own record label that he could sign new talents to. “I feel like it’s about what music can do for everyone else, not just myself.”
