Teen entertainer Gabi Wilson’s new track is the perfect cool tune for this hot summer.
The song, called Something to Prove, is reminiscent of the Isley Brother’s Between the Sheets and has the perfect mix of melody and rhythm.
In the song, Gabi talks about a boy that all the girls want but he wants her. He has to show her that he can be a good guy before she commits.
Gabi may know a thing or two about making a guy win her affection. In a recent interview with SWAY, she spoke about how she was a heartbreaker in the game of love. She also admitted to not knowing everything about the subject just yet.
“I do write about love. I’m 17, right?” Gabi said. “It may not be real love but I think I know what I’m talking about,” she went on jokingly.
