Kelly Rowland was the protective mom-to-be at this year’s dinner hosted by Grey Goose. The R&B singer wore a simple black dress and made sure to protect her bump by putting her hand over it while taking pictures. Tina Knowles was also in attendance at the event, and took several pictures with Rowland before leaving.
It was just last year that Kelly told media that she wasn’t ready to become a mother. “I’m not ready to have a child,” said the star to E! Online. “I like my time, I like to wake up whenever I want to and I like to come and go as I please. I don’t know if I’m ready to share that time with another person, I don’t wanna mess them up.”
It seems like the star is as ready as ever for her and husband Tim Witherspoon’s first child as she protects her bump and remains active while pregnant. Kelly and Tim are expecting their bundle of joy to arrive in coming months.
