Holly Robinson-Peete and the family stopped by the BET Awards at the Nokia Theatre LA LIVE this past weekend. The actress wore a beautiful gown that exposed just enough skin. Ryan, Holly’s daughter, was also formal in attire with a black dress that exposed her back. Rodney Jr. was the informal one of the family who showed off his style in white jeans and a t-shirt.
The Peetes are a family of foundation. Not only do they have their own non-profit organization, HollyRod, but they also support other foundations that seek to benefit the underprivileged. It was just a few weeks ago that Holly and the family attended the sixth annual ‘Empathy Rocks’ fundraiser hosted by the Children Mending Hearts foundation. The event raised awareness about at-risk youth in America, while showing them how to use their creativity in a positive manner.
Since 1998, Children Mending Hearts has worked to provide an outlet for underprivileged kids and teens. The organization has helped thousands of youth release their inner creativity and become positive contributors to society.
Holly Robinson-Peete has four kids with husband Rodney Peete Sr. This year’s BET Awards were held on Sunday, June 29, 2014.
