What did The Game, a.k.a. Jayceon Taylor, do for Father’s Day? He played basketball with NBA player Nick Young. The rapper and the Los Angeles ‘Lakers’ player were two of many celebrities to participate in the Drew League tournament this last Sunday (June 15), and they were serious about the game.
Jayceon passed the ball and blocked shots on the court, while Nick coached his team from the sidelines. The Los Angeles ‘Lakers’ player had his son, Nick Jr., along with him to help guide the team. Meanwhile, Cali Dream cheered for her father from the bleachers. Jayceon’s team, ‘La Familia,’ beat out their opponents after an overtime round that was simply fierce.
Taylor shared his heart with Instagram fans on Father’s Day. The rapper commended all of the dads who are actively involved in their children’s lives, and encouraged those fathers who are not involved to step it up. “Happy Father’s Day to all REAL FATHERS out there….. I appreciate you for helping shape the future….. & for the DEAD BEATS…. It ain’t too late, everything counts… Step it up NOW,” wrote the star.
Jayceon has two kids, Cali Dream and King Justice, with Tiffney Cambridge. The rapper also has a son named Harlem, who is the oldest of the Taylor kids. Nick Young has one son with ex-girlfriend Keonna.
