Congratulations to Tony Parker and fiancee Axelle Francine who welcomed a baby boy into the world earlier this week. Josh was born on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, making Tony one happy dad.
“This is certainly a beautiful day,” wrote Parker on his website. “It’s nice to be a dad and start with a win, it’s great.” Several of Tony’s colleagues commented on his excitement about fatherhood, telling media that the San Antonio ‘Spurs’ player was overjoyed that his son was born just in time for Wednesday night’s game. “He was really excited before the game,” said ‘Spurs’ forward Tim Duncan. “Obviously, he was really excited to have his son here and wanted to get this game really badly, not only for his son but for the situation and the timing of it.”
The San Antonio ‘Spurs’ beat out the Dallas ‘Mavericks’ in a 109-103 win. Josh is Tony and Axelle’s first child together.
