She’s been a Spider Man fan all of her life but love may have convinced Annalise Bishop to switch teams. Jamie Foxx recently told media that his daughter is slowly but surely becoming an Electro fan since discovering that he would be playing the part of the villain in the movie Amazing Spider-Man 2.
“On the red carpet, I asked my daughter, ‘What team are you on,’ and she said, ‘Team Electro,’ so that was nice,” said Foxx in a recent interview. Annalise was previously a devout fan of Spider-Man, telling her father that the web man was going to plunder his character in the upcoming film. “My daughter asks me, ‘What are you going to do in ‘Spider-Man,’ explained Jamie. “I told her and she says, ‘Spider-Man’s going to kick your butt!'”
While some children are afraid of ‘Electro’ due to his blue body and yellow teeth, Jamie told the press that Annalise is not at all moved by the fictional character. “She was also on the set of ‘Django Unchained’ watching people get blown away and going, ‘Oooh, look at all the blood, daddy! It doesn’t screw her up when she watches it,” said Foxx. The actor added, “My daughter can come to the set and she’s dressed in her Spider-Man costume while I got my Electro costume on, and that’s just great.”
So maybe Annalise isn’t a complete ‘Electro’ fan just yet, but she’s definitely her father’s biggest fan. Jamie Foxx has two daughters in all.
Amazing Spider-Man 2 is in theaters today.
