Rev Run is aiming to bring tradition back to his household by having Sunday dinner with the family. The Hip Hop mogul will star in the Cooking Channel’s new series, ‘Sunday Suppers,’ which will feature Rev Run with all members of his clan.
Run and his wife will open their doors to fans as they show the importance of family and bonding through weekly meals with all of the kids. “Rev Run is not only a legendary musician and pop-culture icon, but also a dynamic lifestyle figure with his love for home renovation and keen fashion sense,” says Michael Smith of the Cooking Channel. “Rev’s belief in family, and the simple traditions that go along with it, make him a great addition to the Cooking Channel family.”
The premiere episode will kick off next month, and is slated to feature Justine with her parents. In the episode, Mrs. Simmons invites her mom and dad to dine at her and Rev. Run’s home after teaching Miley, the youngest member of the Simmons clan, the family recipe for her famous lasagna.
