The Campbells are “chillin in the backyard.” Singer Erica Campbell recently shared a portrait of her family next to the jungle gym at the family home. The Gospel artist stood next to her husband while holding her youngest daughter Zaya’s hand. Krista, the eldest of the siblings, also held on to her sister’s hand. The men of the family also stuck together with little Warryn leaning on big Warryn in the photo.
Although the kids have been featured on their reality show, Erica and Tina do not allow their children to watch the finished product of Mary Mary. “I had to deal with the question like ‘Why can’t we watch it,'” said Tina to Cherise Nicole of CNikky.com. “And I had to literally tell my 10-year-old, ‘Well, you know that Mommy and Daddy had a lot of challenges in our relationship and our family almost broke up, and the show will show you how bad it was.”
Erica also chimed in telling Cherise, “I know in this day and age people think, ‘Oh, they’re little grownups. Tell them everything.’ [But] they’re children and they can’t handle everything, so you have to protect them as best you can.”
