Sandra Bullock wants her son, Louis, to enjoy childhood regardless of the circumstances surrounding him. The actress recently told the press that she asked producers to go out of their way to show her tot a good time while she was filming Gravity.
“I can’t selfishly take journeys anymore because I have to take a little boy along with me,” said Sandra. “” “[While on the set] I said … ‘make it so I’m not somewhere not paying attention because I’m so worried about ‘Where is he? Is he having fun? Is this a good life experience?'”
Bullock’s wishes were granted as producers went to the greatest lengths and highest heights to make little Louis comfortable. “[Producer] David [Heyman] turned a backlot of a sound stage in rainy London into a wonderland for a 1½-year-old. Everything was bumper guarded! People go, ‘What is that?’ And I go, ‘That is to protect a child’s head! All of it,” explained Sandra.
The Gravity star will be featured on the cover of Vogue during the month of October and told the magazine that she is in a happy place and regrets nothing. “We’re all where we’re supposed to be,” said Sandra. “I am exactly where I want to be now. You can’t go backward. I’m not going backward. I’m grateful that I’m here, blessed to have what I have.”
Sandra adopted Louis out of New Orleans in 2010. He is her first child.
