Fabulous foursome Mindless Behavior is taking the music industry by storm. The group recently released their sophomore album, All Around the World, which featured singles Used to Be and Keep Her On the Low, are huge hits with fans and show the group’s musical growth. The guys (Prodigy, Princeton, Ray Ray and Roc Royal) are also currently on their headlining All Around the World tour. One of the group’s members, Roc Royal, recently took some time out the chat with Artist Direct about touring, the album and more. Check out the interview highlights below.
On touring
I think about when we went on tour with Backstreet Boys for the first time. It’s upgraded from then until now. We’ve released so much stuff since then. We’re just making the shows better. We’re always making it better for the fans.
On favorite part of the show
You know what? I have a lot of favorite parts. There’s actually one part everybody is feeling. That’s the Michael Jackson tribute we all do. That’s my favorite for right now. I’m not going to give up the songs we’re doing because I want those to be a surprise for the fans. Trust me. We perform a lot of iconic songs. They’re definitely big ones from Michael Jackson. We have that attitude that fits each song, which makes it better.
On what he’s been listening to lately
I’m feeling a lot of people. There’s Drake‘s “Versace”. I’m digging that record. I also have Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, J. Cole, Jay-Z, and Kanye West. All of the new albums are ill. It’s everybody. I’m all over the map.
On what’s next
Hopefully, we start working on the third album. We actually have producers coming together right now. You guys should be looking out for that. I get tired of being at home. The road is a different experience. Traveling all around the world, I’m only 16. This is the life everybody wants to live, so I live it up.
