Among the many things to do in London, Sofia enjoys shopping the most. Lionel Richie recently told Margherita Taylor of Heart’s FM that his teen daughter loves to hang out in the retail stores and absolutely adores buying new things while on her tour of England.
“We went on the wheel, we did the whole thing. I also let her wander around a little bit, without daddy. She’s been here a couple of times, but never as a tourist,” said Richie. “But you know where she really thought was the most exciting place? Shopping. You can take her out and all she says is ‘Dad, can I buy? Dad, can I buy? Dad, can I buy?’ Her sister Nicole threatened to come into town to visit. She’s on her way down to St. Tropez and I told Nicole, ‘Don’t come because it would be disastrous.'”
Lionel went to London to headline the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time festival at Hyde Park on Monday (July 15). The singer took his youngest daughter with him so the two could view the sites during down time. Richie has three kids-Nicole, Miles, and Sofia-in all.
