Master P, and his children Romeo and Cymphonique Miller hosted the Family Empowerment Experience. The rapper and his kids participated in the family empowerment seminar, telling attendees that they are working to change the image of Hip Hop through education.
“People think of hip-hop as being ignorant; we’re changing that,” said Percy. “My son and my daughter, they’re going to college. We’re preparing them for careers and to help them take their lives to the next level.”
Romeo, a student of the University of Southern California, commented on his educational experience while growing up saying, “People may not have ever known, but I always went to regular school. I had to get As and Bs while I was making music and movies and going on tour.” Cymphonique also talked about her family telling Essence Fest attendees, “I’m so thankful to have my family and to be able to work in the music business with them. They’re always there to give me good advice and guidance.”
Master P has nine kids, including five sons and four daughters, in total. The rapper began his career in entertainment several decades ago.
