BEYONCE SAYS SHE’S ‘VERY PROTECTIVE’ OF BLUE

Singer Beyonce Knowles-Carter recently connected with the audience during her concert in London, and grasped the hand of a little girl who appeared to be her daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Bey sang directly to the little one for nearly five seconds before moving on to other attendees.

Bey was featured on ‘Good Morning America’ on Monday (May 6) where she talked about her daughter and the possibility of having more kids someday. “I would like more children,” said the singer. “I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister. And I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life … in the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now. So I’m — I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”

Mrs. Carter also talked about her portrayal of Queen Tara in the upcoming animated film Epic saying, “It’s such a beautiful role and it has so much depth. You know, it’s so emotional and I literally, I was crying when I did the voiceover. And it was the first thing I did after giving birth. And there’s a scene where I pick the pod. And literally there were tears falling [down my face]. I imagined seeing [Blue] for the first time and it was really emotional. The perfect first job for me.”

Blue is Beyonce and husband Jay-Z’s first child together. The tot was born on January 7, 2012.
