Tamar Braxton joins Tamera Mowry-Housley in making her stomach off-limits for touching during pregnancy. The reality star recently expressed similar views that Tamara expressed during her expectancy, telling Essence that she doesn’t enjoy the belly touching that comes along with pregnancy.
“The annoying thing is that people think it’s cool to touch your stomach,” said Tamar. “I’m a Southern girl. We don’t do that. I don’t know what kind of mood you’re in. I don’t know what you did last night. I know it’s tempting but that’s something us Southerners don’t do.”
Tamera also expressed annoyance with the whole stomach touching thing when she was pregnant with baby Aden saying, “I can’t take it anymore. So, I can see the hand coming in slo-mo, and then I just quickly cover it… I just cover my belly with my hands, and I cover it before they can get to it, so what they do is touch my hands.”
Tamar is pregnant with her and husband Vincent Herbert’s first child together. The couple has yet to reveal the gender of the baby.
